CoreyPine Shane, Holistic Clinical Herbalist, is the Director of the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine. He has been studying herbal medicine for almost 20 years, and has been seeing clients professionally for over a dozen years. He has taught at the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism, Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, Mountain Spirit School of Herbal Medicine, Northeast School of Botanical Medicine, Warren Wilson College, and at several national herbal conferences including Medicines from the Earth and the AHG Symposium.

CoreyPine received his training at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine (1994-1995) and advanced training at the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine (1999). He has also studied Chinese medicine extensively, including at Daoist Traditions and is currently completing his Chinese Herbalist certification through the Institute of Chinese Herbalism.

Besides loving to play in the woods, he thinks creativity and laughter are an invaluable part of any apothecary, and is currently working on a book about the medicinal plants of the Southern Appalachians.
